3 Crytur – One of the Czech Material Manufacturers Proprietary materials - single crystals - are processed to high value products by precision grinding and polishing, deposition of dielectric layers and clean room assembly. Major directions:  scintillation materials and detectors,  detection units for electron microscopy,  laser rods and other laser components,  crystal based precision optics including dielectric layers, and  sapphire profiles.

13 Crytur has a long contractual collaboration with ca 10 university groups. Collaboration example: „Nanoscintillation Materials“ – collaboration of 5 university groups for 4 years. Crytur is just end user, total budget 1,8 mil. EUR. Idea behind project: When scintillator particles are smaller than 1/10 of the emitted wavelength, standard optics laws do not apply.
