Rules and Expectations all MHS rules, especially tobacco, alcohol and drug use, weapons, and student conduct travel etiquette on air and ground all hotel and coach rules and courtesies adult supervision at all times courtesy to other group members, as well as other trips’ participants PUNCTUALITY honoring the culture that we are visiting all EF rules (see safety guide on Mrs. Pilon’s website) Be proactive in terms of safety having fun – it’s required!

Traveller’s To Do List Ensure the name you enrolled with is EXACTLY the same as your passport, including middle names You should have your passport by now!! Passports need to be valid up to at least October 2014 Medical Form, Participant Contract and colour copy of passport need to be submitted to Mrs. Pilon no later than December 1 st If you are not paying in monthly instalments, you must pay in full by NOVEMBER 28 th The deadline to enrol in the monthly plan is October 28 th

How much money do I need? Euros for nine days Pounds for two days Some Canadian money Remember, not all meals are provided each day. You will be buying your own lunch most days. Don’t wait until the last minute to get your money, banks often don’t have large amounts of foreign currency on hand

Start thinking about packing (stocking stuffers, anyone?) You NEED a money belt Adapter for the plugs Suitcase scale Make arrangements with friends!! Make sure your suitcase fits Air Canada guidelines (max wt. 50 lbs, max length 62 in.)* There is a $100 fee if your bag is overweight!!!

ET phone home? No news is good news If you use data or text, there will be significant roaming charges (think $1000s) EF calling cards can be difficult to use (but you get a free one!) Usually only one or two pay phones in a hotel Phones attract pickpockets! Call your provider to enquire about international calling Would anyone like to volunteer to be at the top of the emergency phone tree?
