What is BYOD? The goal is to allow teachers and students to work and learn together in a technology environment. Students will be allowed to bring their own devices to use during for assignments.

Teachers Will: Model safe use of internet and devices Use BYOD in their classroom to allow students to use devices during instruction (as needed). Use signs for BYOD days Use signs for BYOD days Actively monitor students and device use Halls – Not to be used unless teacher directs Restrooms – Never to be used Classrooms – Teacher Directed Only Share cool Apps and Web tools

BYOD GUIDELINES: Students are not required to participate. Device should be clearly labeled (Full Name). Device should be charged prior to bringing to school. Student is responsible for personal property. School cannot be responsible for lost/stolen/damaged personal property. Students may not share devices.
