Presentation transcript:

Who we are Our Mission: To inspire our community to use B-cycle as a simple solution for health, transportation, and the environment Our Future: To fully integrate B-cycle into the 4-mile radius from the center of downtown San Antonio with 75 B-stations and 750 bikes by the end of 2015

Our History San Antonio Bike Share (501c3 non-profit operator) was formed to launch the B- cycle program in March 2011 with 14 B-stations and 140 bikes. Federal Grants secured by the City of San Antonio have covered the majority of our capital equipment. We sustain our operations through membership dues, sponsorship income, and community support

uilding active, healthy, sustainable communities San Antonio B-cycle is committed to transforming our city’s downtown & economic development, health & fitness, environmental sustainability, neighborhoods, and transportation through our partnership with SA2020. Bike share inspires changes in lifestyle choices, increases use of personal bikes, and has helped establish our bike culture.
