Which instrument to use? STREP Suitable for small research contracts, beginners or testing new concepts. Should be used as a stepping- stone for future Integrated Projects. SSA Useful for funding small workshops, small conferences, studies, expert groups and activities to stimulate future research activities. CA Used to establish or join networks of researchers on a specific topic. Should be seen as a stepping-stone to future research proposals. Marie Curie Actions Used to fund researchers joining a research group OR funding for researchers to spend time in a research centre in another country. Can also be used to fund high-level scientific conferences and training courses. IP Main target for funding research activities.
