These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. People are making more littler transportation so they won’t have to use a lot of energy. A lot of people are driving cars which make pollution. More school kids take a school bus then walking or riding a bike, skateboard, or scooter. This man created a battery that was put into cars to make them run on battery power, not gasoline. This took place a 100 years ago!

These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. This man reached over 100 mph in a race using an old car! This man is cranking this car to help make the engine make the car move. Carriages were the first kind of cars ever invented. Even though horses powered them. This was the first car sold. It probably cost a lot of money!

These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. The first hybrid car is was made a bit after a 100 years ago. Hybrids did not run on gas all the time. Instead, electricity was one of the main fuel supplies. The first car that was invented was in Germany.

These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. Oil was found in Texas and oil pumps were put everywhere. Even in farms! People predicted that gas was never going to run out. Of coarse that was before the oil shortage in In 2002, the London police used an electric car to catch a bad guy. The drivers are showing that they like electric cars by driving a RAV4.

These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. We won’t be polluting the sky, but batteries have toxic stuff that can hurt us . They can go faster then regular cars, but needs stuff from power plants.  They will cost more a lot more than regular cars, but rising gasoline prices, it’s a sacrifice we have to make.

These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. This car is using solar power to run it. It is a much more efficient way to make power. These high school kids make a hybrid car that goes 1,610 mph!!!! I think it’s probably the best hybrid car made by high school kids. This car is made with alternative fuel cells. This helps protect the ozone layer.

These are all of the visuals from the book. BEFORE you read, type in what you know about these sources of energy. This mailman is using a segway since it does not use gas but electricity. This way it is not hurting the ozone layer.
