Scope and Sequence 1 st semester: –Science process skills –Cell Processes and Transport –Bio-Molecules –Photosynthesis & Cellular Respiration –Nucleic Acids & Protein Synthesis –Cell Reproduction –Genetics & DNA Technology 2 nd semester: –Evolution –Classification –Ecology –Plants –Animals –Infectious Diseases

GRADES Late work accepted up to 1 day late (once I start grading it) with penalty (70% credit) 2 days or more- 50%-0 Tests – if a student scores below a 75– they will come to tutorials and I will re-teach then they will re-take the test in another tutorial session (max grade = 75%)

Make-up Work Policy I try and post all info on school webpage Make-up work station on counter. If you have questions, you can – I do check on weekends! See syllabus for more details.

Online textbook We have recently adopted a new biology book and are in the process of setting up the online book. I will post the access information on line as soon as it is available. We do have a class set for use in class.
