General Information This course is designed to meet or exceed all requirements of NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670 for operations (Level I) level rope rescue. The purpose of this course is to create competent rescuers with: Strong rope fundamentals Ability to function as part of a rescue team Understanding of tactical priorities and organization Proficiency in technical skills and applications

General Information Prerequisite Standard NFPA 1006 Ch : Level I (Operations) This level shall apply to individuals who identify hazards, use equipment, and apply limited techniques specified in this standard to perform technical rescue operations.
