University of Otago Undergraduate rural health club, Dunedin Established by Dr Pat Farry to address student issues related to rural health Medicine Physiotherapy Pharmacy Dentistry Nursing

1)Promote opportunities in rural health and assist students interested in rural health into professional programmes - visits to rural secondary schools and mentoring 2) Provide information to students in health professional courses about rural health - rural health week - information on voluntary bonding and rural hospital programmes/GP training - meetings with people working rurally

3) Expose interested students to rural health - skills weekends - hospital visits (road trips) - rural health week 4) Provide a social club with connections to students in other health professional courses Website: matagouri.otago.ac.nz
