A customizable met website for flight preparation:

For light aviation: one-click flight documentation

PDF-style for printing

For commercial aviation: fully customizable flight documentation  The airline companies can choose, for each flight: –Met flight documentation contents List of ICAO codes for METAR, TAF, SIGMET and similar messages Domains and validity times for WINTEM and SIGWX charts –The scheduled time for automatic production and printing

Service oriented architecture (SOA)  A web service for third-party information systems –For whom ? Airline companies, aeronautical providers, flight schools, Civil Aviation Authority –What for ? Getting in real time : Met Airport Reports and Forecast (METAR, SPECI, TAF, SIGMET…) Significant weather charts, Wind and Temperature charts (SIGWX, WINTEM) In order to put this information in flight documentation, to display on the web… –How ? Through an http request: ID=code_utilisateur &TYPE_DONNEES=OPMET &LIEUID=LFPG|LFPO &METAR=oui &TAF=Deux –Answer format ? XML

Sample of flight documentation on a flight school website

Generation of official aeronautical met data with a Synergie server Synergie server (selection of valid METAR-TAF and generation of WINTEM and SIGWX) Aeroweb (light and commercial aviation) Aeroweb web service End-user Third party information system (airlines, airports, flight schools…) web services Transmet Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Certification and traceability requirements  Requirements: –ICAO: Guidelines on the Use of the Public Internet for Aeronautical Applications Traceability requirements : 30 days archive of all flight documentation –Single European Sky: certification requirements for aeronautical providers –ISO 9000  Aeroweb: –Synergie software certified by the World Area Forecast Centre (WAFC) of London for WINTEM and SIGWX –Internal audit of the entire system every year
