Donovan Mcnabb’s childhood He was born in Chicago November 25,1976. When Donovan was 8 his family moved to a safer neighbor hood in Dolton Illinois. Soon after they came vandals wrecked their home. From an early age Donovan was a big sports fan. At age 11 he watched an African American QB Doug Williams play in the super bowl and win. He was the first African American QB. Donovan was determined to become like him. In college football Donovan ran 80 yards for a touchdown. He lead the team to a 21-1 record. In college he threw 27 touchdowns.
Highlights In 1999, Donavan sighed a contract with Philadelphia Eagles. He was determined to work hard and become the best player their ever was. He needed a lot to improve. In the 2000 season Donovan continued to work hard. Progress was slow but steady. He was making progress 75% of the time. At the end of the season he lead his team 11-5 record.
