Presentation transcript:

Ben Iverson

What have you found most challenging about math this year?  I have had trouble doing my 30 minutes of IXL each week. Some weeks I do only 5 minutes, while other weeks I do 45 minutes. I do not know why I don’t always do my IXL, I remind my self almost everyday, but I don’t get around to actually practicing.

What have you done to overcome these challenges?  To overcome my IXL challenges, I need to practice for 40 minutes every Sunday. I need to do my IXL on Sunday so I don’t need to worry about it when I have other homework to do. I have to practice 40 minutes weekly so that I can make up for my lost time.

What are you most proud of in math this year?  Over the year, I have worked hard to get good grades. I have never gotten anything below an “A” on a report card. I am proud of this because this represents all of my hard work. I set a goal at the beginning of 5 th grade that I would never get anything below an “A-”, and I have accomplished this two year goal.

What is your personal goal in math?  My personal goal in math is to get a 100% on 2 of my remaining 3 tests. I have only gotten one or two “Ding, Ding, Dings” and I would like to get two more. I would like to get more 100%s for two reasons. One, these last tests can help me with my math placement, and two, this will help me achieve my straight A goal that I set last year.

What math activity would you like your parents to?  I would like my parents to try a quiz that I created on ProProfs. The quiz has questions that I have learned over the course of the school year, and some things from last year. I think that I will be able to stump my parents of some of the questions. Click Here for my Quiz.Click Here for my Quiz.

Show Your Work  I have chosen to share IXL with my parents. I want to show them what kind of work I am doing, and let them try.IXL  I would like to show my parents my math placement sheet. I do not have a digital copy yet, but I will get one soon.
