The AP Spanish Language and Culture course is structured around six themes. During the course of this year we will study Spanish-speaking culture in the context of these themes. La Vida Contemporánea / Contemporary Life Las Familias y Las Comunidades / Families and Communities La Belleza y La Estética / Beauty and Asthetics Los Desafíos Mundiales / Global Challenges Las Identidades Personales y Públicas / Personal and Public Identities La Ciencia y La Tecnología / Science and Technology

When we begin a theme there will be essential questions that will be discussed at the beginning and end of each theme. These questions will help you to make connections between our culture and the Spanish-speaking culture. This will help you with several aspects of the AP exam as well as help you attain the intermediate high to advance level of proficiency according to the American Council of Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
