Next This lesson is designed to be simple to use. To move from page-to-page, simply follow the walking man at the bottom of each page. The man on the bottom-left will take you back to the previous page. The man on the right will advance you to the next page. (Sometimes technology fails us. If the navigation buttons fail, right click on the screen and choose Previous or Next) To go back to the start of the lesson, click the Start arrow. To end the lesson, click the End Show arrow. Next To open your Header you must click on the Custom Header button. To open the Footer, click on the Custom Footer button. In this lesson we will demonstrate using the Custom Header. Previous START END SHOW

Next You will then be presented with the Header dialog box. This box has 3 sections. You are given the option of placing text into the left, center, and/or right side of the header. Make note of the toolbar that has appeared with the dialog box below. Previous STARTEND SHOW

Next Before we continue, lets take a look at the Icons that you are presented with. Some of these Icons are available in other areas of Microsoft but they have been made available here because they are often used within the Header and/or Footer. Font Page Number Number of Pages Current Date Current Time File Path File NameTab Insert Clipart Format Picture Previous Note File Path shows where the file is stored on the computer Tab shows the name of the sheet START END SHOW

Next Just like in MS Word, you will not be able to see what your Header and/or Footer looks like until you close the Header/Footer dialog box. True True or FalseFalse Previous STARTEND SHOW
