R ATIONALE OF A GES 2.0 … to one that gives them greater opportunities for independence and social integration. 15 November AGES 2.0 is aimed to determine how ICT can be used more successfully to foster social communication and social inclusion in elderly community and care residents.
A GES 2.0 O BJECTIVES Determine whether a novel social media intervention (Easy PC), enhances the health and well-being of elderly in receipt of care through fostering social engagement and interaction. 15 November determine the degree of social engagement that Easy PC enables and determine the health and well-being outcomes associated with Easy PC use; determine the possibility of incorporating Easy PC as a social communication package for elderly people at territorial levels through a strategic up-scaling; disseminate the results of the study at local, national and EU levels
