Lifeline of Ohio empowers our community to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Donate Life Ohio teamed up with the Ohio Hospital Association, the Second Chance Trust Fund and the Ohio Department of Health to implement the campaigns Ran two campaigns ( and ) that coincided with HRSA’s national campaign Campaign materials were created by SCTF A website was created for participating hospitals Hospitals could log their participation Download resources Share Best Practices Honored hospitals of every size that embraced this life-saving initiative Hospitals supporting the cause earned points for their participation and receive Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum designations which were presented at the OHA annual meeting. Lifeline of Ohio empowers our community to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Hospitals gained points by participating in various activities: Community Engagement and Education Donor Registration Opportunities Marketing and Communications Support This campaign allowed smaller hospitals the chance to shine! Activities needed to meet award criteria were based on the size of the hospital Smaller hospitals often had less ‘hoops’ to jump through to get activities approved These hospitals were often already active in their communities-adding the donation element was easy!
