Statistics 2009 BRFSS Survey Results Say: 73.6% of people in North Carolina exercise 63.6 % of people in Robeson County exercise Out of the people of Robeson County 65.5 % of Males exercise and 61.5 % of Females exercise * they counted things like running, gardening, or walking for exercise, not just going to a gym.

Exercise Is Medicine: The main thing is it prevents colon cancer Treats and prevents chronic disease Treats and prevents obesity Reduction in mortality rates (especially for people who have diabetes or cancer) Helps control blood pressure Improves cholesterol levels Reduces injuries
