2. What happened to the hills and soil around Tangsa many years ago. There were no trees in or around the village.When it rained, the soil was carried away down the hills and into the rivers.
3. Why did this happen there? Trees were cut down but none were planted.
4.What did the people in Tangsa do after that? They began to save or protect their trees..
5.What did some strangers want to do in 1970? They wanted to cut down a large forest.
