The Basque Fab Lab

DenokInn DenokInn is the Basque Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and New Business Development. DenokInn promotes a comprehensive approach towards innovation in order to identify and promote new business opportunities and services in existing firms and/or within the public sector. The means to target this purpose encompass the following aspects: 1.Methodologies to identify emerging opportunities. 2.Rapid Business and Service prototyping. (Basque Fab Lab) 3.Creating the necessary infrastructures to launch new enterprises. 4.Training “the best people for the best project”. 5. Expeditionary marketing.

What are we doing? 1.- Learning with the Fab academy. 2.- Identifying new opportunities. 3.- Rapid prototyping. 4.- Future training (local companies, graduate students, young kids and disadvantaged groups

Hiriko prototype Forma LAB Forma LAB overcomes the existing gap between advanced technologies and formative contents. Innovative approaches generated in the scientific and technologic fields evolve at a much faster speed than educational programs. We are developing methods and tools to rapidly interact with the new generated knowledge. It is necessary to attend to the formation of new professional competencies to navigate new business opportunities and emerging social services. The Fab Academy trains young profesionals with the most advanced methodolgies tested in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. These students develop skills to lead Innovation Departments in both, the public and private sector.
