Art movement Movement was by exploring its range and movement and expression in every medium and Michelangelo architecture has a human aspect in which the window and a door, or the face or body, or the position of architectural elements suggest muscular tension. Michelangelo was important to many people because of all of his art works that he’s done His poetry writings were to personal and his arts works were more fascinating than the poetry writing

Artist distinct style He had many styles that changed over his lifetime, but he was primarily a sculptor He was influenced deeply by the Classical Greek nude A lot of his work were frescoes, so the colors ended up being very vivid. They weren't meant to be realistic rather they were more focused on being so exaggerated to emotions from the viewer rather than logic.

Accomplishments Michelangelo's crowning achievement as an architect was his work at St. Peter's Basilica, where he was made chief architect in 1548 One of his first pieces was the famous "Pieta," the only work he ever signed. This famous marble statue, which now stands in Saint Peter' Basilica, was completed before the artist was 25 years old. Michelangelo completed many great works of art like the Sistine Chapel ceiling,Pope Julius II requested that Michelangelo to paint the chapel ceiling. Michelangelo expressed his view of himself and the world even more directly in his poetry than in the other arts.

Importance/influence The work of early Renaissance masters such as Ghiberti, Ghilandaio, and Giovanni made an impact on Michelangelo Michelangelo's influence on his contemporaries and on later artists was profound and Mannerism was an art movement that was based on exaggeration and the aspects of the style Michelangelo and the other artists of the late renaissance and the mannerists were drawn to complex possess and elegance of some of his figures. entertainment.howstuffworks.com
