Background Info  Mother (Francesca Neri) died at age of six.  Father was involved with banking  Father(Leonardo di Buonarrota Simoni) born in Florence, Italy  At age 12, Michelangelo became an apprentice to Domenico Ghirlandajo

Where he lived  When he was first born, Michelangelo moved to Florence while still an infant  When he was older, he moved and lived in Rome, Italy
