Accomplishments of My Katherine Hepburn Center Internship Learned how to use the film editing program Final Cut Pro Got a glimpse into what it takes to get and keep a small start- up business going Worked closely on the production of a segment for the PBS news program Need To Know called “Saving Carla” Got a better understanding of the food system within New York City through research for the production of Need to Know segment about childhood obesity in the bronx, which has inspired me to write my thesis on food systems’ impact on the urban community

What I got Out of My Internship Life after Bryn Mawr: Got the chance to work and get to know 2 Bryn Mawr alumnae and learn about their career choices Ability to work on multiple projects at once and the importance of organization in a buisness Knowledge of the film, video, and TV production industry that will help guide me in future career choices
