3 International Investment Bank FINANCING PRIORITIES Projects related to export of production, services, technologies between Member Countries; Project has to be on a Member Country territory and create new production or service capabilities; Export of capital and investments between Member Countries.

4 International Investment Bank REGIONAL STRUCTURE OF IIB PROJECTS Examples of recent projects (financed or committed) -Russia (medium-size regional power stations in Altay and Kislovodsk, open granite mining, residential construction, grain elevator) -Mongolia (brick production, mining of gold, residential construction, milk production, meat production, cashmere production) -Czech Republic (sawdust pellet mill construction using Czech- produced pellet lines and appliances) -Slovakia (thermal park, hotel and congress centre facility in Damanova valley) -Romania (office centre) -Bulgaria (frozen and canned foods, plastic pipes, logistics warehouse)

6 International Investment Bank COUNTRY STRATEGIES HIGHLIGHTS Russia: –projects included in national programs, namely energy infrastructure; regional diversification of Russian assets Czech Republic: –syndication with local banks; financing foreign trade Mongolia: –project financing with participation of more member countries; co- operation with local banks Vietnam: –projects whose realization is assisted by international financial institutes and/or national government; support for Vietnamese investment aboard

7 International Investment Bank CREDIT FACILITIES AND THEIR PURPOSE Investment crediting: –Financing investment projects Project financing: –Financing investment projects with possible ownership/parallel participation in future Credits for financing day-to-day operations: –Financing foreign trade, credits for fixed and current assets Syndicated loans: –Participation of the Bank in financing major projects through pooling resources with other participating banks Bank guaranties: –Banking collateral issued by the IIB on behalf of the customer
