In August 2011, the MC obtained accreditation by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET); an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the only recognized accrediting agency to be certified as an ISO 9001:2008-Quality Management System. This accreditation is the result of two years of hard work by all the MC team to address the quality requirements of ACCET. The MC obtained its accreditation for five years, an indication of the positive evaluation of the Council to the quality efforts and output of the MC. A Partnership for Quality®
