Enhance the intellectual, social, cultural and economic qualities of urban life by providing educational opportunities throughout the life span. Provide quality liberal education and an array of professional and graduate programs especially relevant to metropolitan areas. Portland State University’s Mission

Establish CADS working groups on priorities. Plan symposium and communicate retreat results. Working Groups Symposium Identifying Leadership Programs April – June 2007 Expand working groups. Provost gathers their recommendations and makes final decisions on mandates, criteria and metrics. Integrate those decisions into budget process. Base administrative decisions on core leadership position and priorities.
