Efforts Include Maintaining Federal Compliance Maintaining State & Local Collaboration ▫ECC (Sub Committee Representation) ▫ RDSTF Keeping the Community Informed ▫Community Hurricane Forum ▫Web Page, Radio and Local TV Channel Keeping Staff Prepared ▫Senior Staff Table Top Exercise ▫Annual CEOP Review ▫Mandatory Employee meetings ▫Emergency Management Planning Committee (EMPC)
NIMS Compliance National Incident Management System (NIMS) ▫Based upon a Presidential Directive. ▫Required to maintain Grant eligibility. Very Pragmatic and successful approach to Organizational management. All employees have some role and are required to complete basic coursework.
State and County Collaboration Emergency Coordinating Council (ECC) an advisory board established in accordance with FSS ▫Each Municipality has a voting member ▫Comprised of Several EM Working Groups ▫BEMA
