Q UIZZES AND T ESTS Each chapter will have Quizzes and 1 Chapter Test. Section Reviews and a Study Guides for each chapter or section we go over. The information on the quizzes and tests will come directly from the in class PowerPoint notes and the textbook.

L ABS AND P ROJECTS There will be at least 1 Lab or Project per quarter. The Lab Contract is posted on my website. Please print a copy and you and your child will need to read and sign sign this document.

H OMEWORK Homework will be given several times a week just as a reinforcement to what has been taught in class. It is important that the students review the notes that they have taken in class and re-read the information we have covered in the textbook.

G RADES AND P INNACLE All grades are weighted into categories. 40% Tests and Quizzes 25% Labs and Projects 25% Classwork 10% Homework School Grading Scale: A70-76 C B D B60-66 D C+ 0-59F You can view your child’s grades online at the Pinnacle Internet Viewer.
