Makeup Microscope Procedure ●Using the information on the following slides to answer all questions on your microscope lab paper ●Use the images to draw each of the organisms and to calculate cell size. ●Be sure to answer all questions & to complete all tasks as outlined on your lab paper

Microscope Basics ● Light microscopes magnify objects using light ● Both the eyepiece (what you look through) and the objectives (rotating lenses) magnify objects ● Magnification: ●Eyepiece: 10x object’s size ●Scanning objective: 4x object’s size ●Low objective: 10x object’s size ●High objective: 40x object’s size
