MAINDATA 2-way Broadband Satellite Internet Platform Key DVB RCS features: Low cost & High Performance solution 60 Mbps in a forward channel !!! 2 Mbps in a return channel per terminal !!! 2-way terminals for prices < € Efficient satellite capacity usage (30-70 % savings) While forward channel deploys ordinary DVB-S transmission return channel RCS deploys enhanced MF-TDMA access scheme as well as Turbo-coding significantly increasing efficiency of satellite segment usage. Open standard system DVB RCS is a first Open Standard system for 2-way satellite system. In opposite to proprietary systems provides high flexibility to Service Operator, for example by a change choose HUB and terminals from different vendors.
