Seminar at the Church We presented the Walk Thru the Bible New Testament Seminar to Cidade Ariston Baptist Church in Carapicuiba, SP Brazil. This was all done through an interpreter. Pastor Jairo has been my interpreter for several years. We had an average attendance of over six nights. The people said they really enjoyed the services and learned a lot! We saw 40 people pray to receive Jesus Christ during the New Testament Seminar. GOD IS GOOD! Brazil Mission Trip May 2005 PAGE #1

Christian School At Cidade Ariston Baptist Church they have started a school to help the children and families in their community. They have 43 children enrolled and another 50 on a waiting list. The church has the room and the adult leaders but do not have the financial resources at this time to accept more children. They have started a scholarship program to help with this need. Home Visits As we visited in homes and with in the community we found the people very open and receptive to the Good News about Jesus Christ. Most of the people that we visited were very poor and have many needs. We visited some who live in small rooms built from old used plywood and pieces of tin. Most homes had several children and extended family members all living together under the same roof.
