Project Outline Students will calculate a dollar amount that they have to spend each month on the individual expenses they were given. These numbers were given in a percentage form so they must convert that to a decimal and multiply to find that percent of their monthly income. If they chose option 1 for 100 possible points, they need to take off the $350 for child care expense before calculating the other amounts since this was given as a dollar amount and not a percentage. Students will then create a full size poster that shows what career they picked, their monthly and yearly income, any family demographics (married, kids, single, etc.), and the dollar amount of money they have to spend each month on each expense given. Students may include pictures, graphics, graphs, or any other visual to make their posters appealing. The posters should be turned in to me no later than October 30.
