Intro. Harriet Tubman is a very inspiring person of the civil rights movement and slavery. Harriet risked her live for other slaves to be free. Nat Turner  Nat inspired Harriet to lead slaves to freedom. When Nat tried to steal guns and let the slaves free Harriet was instantly inspired by Nat Turner

Owned  Harriet was owned by a White Person mostly all of her life.

Plantation  Harriet was on a plantation that grew cotton and other stuff. It was very hard being a slave you got wiped if you did something wrong. Your hands would be so blistered they would bleed.

Quilt codes  Conductors would use quilts so the slaves would know the wouldn’t hurt them.

Run away  Slaves would have to run very fast and be stealthy so they wouldn’t get caught by slave hunters.

Tricks  Harriet would use trick so she wouldn’t get caught. She would sprinkle pepper on her trail so the dogs wouldn’t be able to sniff her down.

Vanished  Harriet would bring back a group of slaves then she would lay low for a month then get another groups to freedom.

War Ends  When the Civil war ended ALL slaves were set free. But they still had sights that said," Whites Only”. This was called segregation.

Young  Harriet was still young when she went on the railroad.

Zigzag  Harriet would use zigzag patterns to keep the slave owners from catching them.

Conclusion Harriet Tubman played a very big part in the roll of slavery. She is one of the most bravest people in the world.
