40% of people left the party before it ended. 10% of those who left were men. The ratio of the number of men who left to those who did not was 2:5. If there were 105 men at the party when it started, how many women were at the party when it started?

Step 1: Share the ratio to find the number of men who left the party 2 parts + 5 parts = 7 parts 7 parts = part = 15 Therefore 2 parts = 30 Step 2: Calculate the number of people who left the party Men left → 10% = 30 People left → 100% = 300 Therefore, 300 people left the party Step 3: Calculate the number of adults at the party ( by reverse percentage) 40% → 300 people 1% → 7.5 people 100% → 750 people There 750 people at the party Step 4: Find the number of women = 645 Therefore there were 645 women at the party at the beginning

40% of people left the party before it ended. 10% of those who left were men. The ratio of the number of men who left to those who did not was 3:6. If there were 90 men at the party when it started, how many women were at the party when it started?

40% of people left the party before it ended. 20% of those who left were men. The ratio of the number of men who left to those who did not was 2:3. If there were 80 men at the party when it started, how many women were at the party when it started?

20% of people left the party before it ended. 20% of those who left were men. The ratio of the number of men who left to those who did not was 5:3. If there were 24 men at the party when it started, how many women were at the party when it started?

25% of people left the party before it ended. 50% of those who left were men. The ratio of the number of men who left to those who did not was 3:2. If there were 160 men at the party when it started, how many women were at the party when it started?

Problem 2: 660 women at the part y at the beginning Problem 3: 320 women at the part y at the beginning Problem 4: 351 women at the part y at the beginning Problem 5: 608 women at the part y at the beginning
