Marketing of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants

o Pakistani exports of high value plants generated over US$10.5 million in 2012 with a substantial percentage coming from Swat region alone according to a study conducted by USAID. o Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (MAP) are in abundance in Malakand Region especially in Swat and Dir districts. o More than 80 species including 24 High Value MAPs in Swat only.

MMarket share of Pakistani Medicinal Plants in the global markets is quite low due to ppoor collection techniques, llengthy supply chain, llack of knowledge, and ppoor marketing strategies,

 Increase International Market Share of these products by  improving quality of collection locally by training collectors and better preservation,  marketing these plants on the international market.  Also launch our own brand in the future

He has successfully secured funding for establishing a Business Incubation Center at University of Malakand and is acting as Incharge BIC. He also teaches Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management Studies. He like travelling and photography and takes great interest in technology.
