We are a hassle free business for anyone who is busy and doesn’t have the time and energy to waste by shopping around. We are aware that it is difficult to bring all of the elements of a perfect birthday party together in a quick and affordable manner, so we are here to make this a reality.

3 Our service is perfect for the working parents who don’t have the time and energy to make their children’s birthday parties a reality. We are here for you to have all of the necessary essentials to make your child’s next birthday party a grand success. Our service provides, at minimum all of the decorations, the birthday cake and the treat bags for all of the guests. We come to your house the day of the party, an hour before it is scheduled to begin and transform your house into a birthday party central! Your children will never have a better birthday party!

5 We feel as if we have a strong base for this business since it is the first time that a company of this type has been launched into the Halifax Regional Municipality. We are aware that we may encounter skeptical customers because this is such a new type of business. We want to encourage people to try our new service and we are very confident that we will be able to overcome that bump in the road by our advertising and forming a good name for ourselves.

6 Due to extensive research, we have found that according to Statistics Canada, in 2003 there are 161,720 families with children at home in Nova Scotia. This shows a lot of potential for clientele in the Halifax Regional Municipality. We are a growing population in Halifax, with the number of households containing children increasing each year. This makes our market niche constantly growing. We are gearing towards children, but seeing as the parents are the ones paying for birthday parties, we feel as if it is essential to appeal to them as well.

8 We have come to two different kinds of packages for parents to choose from. The first one is called the “Supreme Package” and it offers many things to make you birthday party experience the best one yet! It includes: Invitations, plates, cups, forks, spoons, napkins, a table cover, centerpiece, Mylar balloon, balloons, rolls of crepe paper streamers, curling ribbon, candles, pre-filled treat boxes and a birthday cake. The service provided is that Party Time 4 Kidz! will come to your house and set up all of decorations for you. It is hassle free and one-stop shopping! For this package, it will cost the parent $17.00 a child, plus tax.

9 The second package that we offer for parents is the one called “Ultimate Package” formulated for you to have the easiest time organizing a birthday party possible. It includes: Invitations, plates, cups, forks, spoons, napkins, a table cover, centerpiece, Mylar balloon, balloons, rolls of crepe paper streamers, curling ribbon, candles, pre-filled treat boxes and a birthday cake, just like the “Supreme Package” as well as a piñata, piñata fillers, a birthday party activity and thank-you notes. This way the birthday party activities are taken care of as well. The service is also provided when we come to your house prior to the birthday party and set up all of the decorations for you. Convenience is first with Party Time 4 Kidz! For this package, it will cost the parent $25.00 a child, plus tax.

10 Since we don’t have too much money to begin with, and we are starting our business small, we will not require employees at the beginning. The people who will do everything for this business at the beginning will be the two owners in the partnership, Lena Rubenstein and Hannah Rubenstein. Since we are both partial owners of the business, it will make everything much simpler. We will not talk much money out of the business, since we want to keep turning the money over in trying to expand our business.
