A.P. TELECOM CIRCLE CM-PLANNING WING WELCOME DEVELOPMENT MEETING WITH UNIONS/ASSOCIATIONS

PHASE VII PROJECT STATUS The Phase VII GSM expansion project of 31.5 lakhs lines capacity has been completed. All the planned 1748 BTSs & 1800 Node Bs radiated. 3G facility was provided for 450 Cities/Towns in A.P.Circle (against the earlier 29 towns/cities in Phase V) as part of the Phase VII project. BTSs of ZTE make were installed in 6 SSAs (Hyderabad, Vijayawada Urban, Guntur, Nalgonda, Medak Urban& Mahaboobnagar SSAs). 3G Node Bs of ZTE make were installed in the 14 SSAs(Full - HTD, KRI, NGD, GTR & MBN SSAs. Partial SSAs - RR, MDK, WL, ADB, KHM, CTR, KNL,CDP, PKM). The data volumes have been increased drastically from the earlier 6 TB to 21 TB per day after the roll out of the phase VII project. High capacity MSCs/MGWs ( Each 40 Lakhs BHCA & 40K Erlangs) commissioned at Saifabad, Patny Centre & Guntur. High capacity SGSNs (Each of 4 GBPS throughput capacity) at Saifabad & Vijayawada. At the end of Phase VII project the number of 2G BTSs working is 7527 & 3G Node Bs is

Phase VII + Project at a glance  Corporate office has placed an Advance Purchase Order for the Phase VII+ project and Circles will be authorized for placing the Purchase Orders shortly.  Net capacity to added in the net work : 7.25 Lakh lines.  The data speeds will be increased from 14.4 Mbps to 21.6 Mbps in the Circle. The proposed procurement in this phase are:  Total No. of MSCs expansions: 2  Total No. of MGWs: 3 (VM, KNL & WL)  Total No. of BSCs: 6  Total No. of RNCs: 8  Total No. of 2G BTSs: 660 (For replacement of MOTOROLA Ph I to III+ BTSs in WL, CDP, KNL, ADB & PKM SSAs)  Total no. of 3G Node Bs:
