The History of Cell-Phones

The First Cell-Phones The history of mobile phones begins with early efforts to develop mobile telephony concepts using two-way radios and continues through emergence of modern mobile phones and associated services. The cell phone was invented by Dr. Martin Cooper in April of 1973. The cell-phone was invented to allow people to talk without having to be at a land line phone.

WHY? The cell-phone is needed so that people can communicate . Without having to be near each other. My area of interaction is Health and Social Education because its used solialize with people.

The process The process is called generations .First ,second ,third and forth.[1G, 2G, 3G and 4G]

1st key event 1971-AT&T introduces their first modern day mobile phone.

2nd Key Event 1982-Nokia’s first mobile phone.

3rd key event 1990-Introduction of 2G technology.

4th Key Event 1993-Pre- IPhone introduction

5th Key Event 2000-Introduction to smart phones
