In Science we learned about our planet Earth. It’s the 3 rd closest to the sun. It’s the only planet with water on it so far that NASA knows of. Also it’s the only planet with life on it so far that NASA knows.

In Social Studies we learned about the Great Lakes. They are Lake Superior, Lake Ontario, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Erie.

In 5 th Grade we learned about the oceans around the United States. Which are the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is on the East coast and the Pacific Ocean is on the West coast.

In science we learned about the five Dwarf Planets including Pluto and four others. One in the Asteroid Belt and the other ones are past the Kuiper Belt.

In Social Studies we learned about maps and how to read them. We also learned about most of the mountains and how the Appalachian Mtns. start up in the North East and ends in the South East.
