Disaster Management … is mainly a task of the Bundesländer and their subordinated structures (districts, cities, villages), assisted by the BBK (Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe / Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance) and the AKNZ (Akademie für Krisenmanagement, Notfallplanung und Zivilschutz / Academy for Crisis Management, Emergency Planning and Civil Protection)

Consequences for us… Bundesländer are (mainly) responsible for disaster management We have to talk to… “Baltic” Bundesländer: Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg A lot of different contact points (Bundesländer, Federal Institutions) Outcomes so far  Many different exercises (and emergencies),  A lot of different evaluations  No matrices / evaluation forms  No tangible results  We are still working on this topic
