I chose to locate my settlement near the river. I chose to locate my settlement just to the north of the river. I chose to locate my settlement 1 ½ Kilometres north of the river. I chose to locate my settlement 1 ½ Kilometres north of the river and 2 kilometres west of the mixed woodland. I chose to locate my settlement 1 ½ Kilometres north of the river and 2 kilometres west of the mixed woodland on an area of gently sloping land.

Being close to a river is useful as I will need drinking water. Being close to a river is useful as I will need drinking water…. I can also use the river water to water my crops which I have planted, I will also need somewhere to wash myself. Being close to a river is useful as I will need drinking water….. I can also use the river water to water my crops…. It will also be advantageous to be so close to the woodland as I will need wood to build my shelter and wood for lighting fires to cook and keep warm. I might also find fruits to pick and animals to hunt living in the wood. Being close to a river is useful as I will need drinking water. Without water I will dehydrate and I don’t want to have to walk too far every time I need a drink especially if the weather is hot
