How To Use a Microscope 1.Make a wet mount –Place specimen on slide –Place one drop of water on specimen –Hold cover slip at a 45 degree angle to the slide –Let it fall on top of the specimen

How to Use a Microscope 2. Move to lowest objective lens 3.Move stage as high as it can move 4.Use the stage knobs until specimen over the light 5.Use the course adjustment knob until specimen in focus 6.Use fine adjustment knob 7.Move to next high objective lens ONLY USE FINE ADJUSTMENT AT THE HIGHER OBJECTIVE LENSES!!!!!
