Dissection Pan- Used to place a specimen in when conducting a dissection.
Safety Glasses- Used during lab procedures to protect the eyes.
Dropper- Used to carry small drops of liquid from a container to where it’s necessary in lab.
Triple Beam Balance- Used to measure the mass of an object.
Bunsen Burner- Produces a flame to provide an experiment with heat if necessary.
Forceps- Used for holding, moving, or picking up things during experiments.
T-Pins- Used for pinning or holding down object to a dissection pan during dissection.
Beaker- Used for holding and measuring liquids during experiments.
Ruler- Used for measuring length of objects.
Graduated Cylinder- Used for measuring, transporting, and pouring liquid during experimentation.
Microscope- Used to magnify objects so that they can be seen clearly.
Test Tube- Used for holding liquid during an experiment.
Test Tube Holder- A rack used to hold test tubes during an experiment.
Scissors- Used for cutting especially during dissections.
Glass Slide- Used to display a specimen under a microscope. Cover Slip- Placed over the specimen on the glass slide.
Petri Dish- Used to hold samples, usually growing; bacteria, fungus, etc. to be used in an experiment.
Probe- Used for pointing, moving, or pushing during dissection. Scalpel- Cutting tool used during dissection.
Funnel- Used for pouring liquid from one container to another.
Thermometer- Used for measuring temperature during experimentation.
Pipette- Used for transporting a measured liquid.
