Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty! Holy, Holy, Holy…

Psalm 88 – You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths, your wrath lies heavily upon me: you have overwhelmed me with all your waves, you have taken from me my closest friends and have made me repulsive to them…, your terrors have destroyed me, all day long they surround me like a flood; you have taken my companions and loved ones from me; the darkness is my closest friend.

Psalm 10 – Why, O lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

Job – If only my anguish could be weighed and all my misery be placed on the scales…the arrows of the Almighty are in me, my spirit drinks in their poison, God’s terrors are marshaled against me. …May the day of my birth perish, and the night it was said a boy is born! That day may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it may no light shine upon it.

Moses – Why have you brought this trouble on your servant?... if this is how you are going to treat me then put me to death right now… Why have you brought this trouble on your servant?... if this is how you are going to treat me then put me to death right now…

Numbers 11:4 If only we had meat to eat! We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no cost – also the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. But now we never see anything but this manna!

Numbers:11:20 ‘You have rejected the Lord who is among you, and have wailed before him saying ‘why did we ever leave Egypt?’ ‘You have rejected the Lord who is among you, and have wailed before him saying ‘why did we ever leave Egypt?’

See you next week!
