Visions of Final Glory. Seven visions of future Kingdom. Portray different aspects of work of Saints. Have given encouragement, instruction to believers living through all the ages. All visions contain the throne to be set up on earth - focal point of whole Book. Selected historical events are foretold - key markers towards that ultimate goal.

Can Man See God ? Isa 6v1 Isaiah’s vision introduces us to supreme name of the Deity - Yahweh (Heb) - shown in Authorised Version of Bible as LORD. From rest of scripture impossible for men to see God and live - “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” (2 Tim 6:16)

Whose Glory Seen By Isaiah? Isa 6 v 1-5 Isaiah claims to have seen and heard the Lord. “These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him” (Jno 12:41) Saw whose glory and spake of whom? Jesus in vision.

“Saw his Glory…” (Isa 6). 1 ¶ In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

His Glory. (Isaiah 6). 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 ¶ Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Vision of Glory (Isa 6) 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Symbolic Vision of Jesus in Kingdom. New Testament gives clue - what Isaiah saw was symbolic vision of Jesus in Glory. Picture is of future Kingdom - Isaiah states:- “The whole earth is full of His glory” (Isa 6:3). Symbolic vision - not yet present in reality.

End Picture Presented First. 11:15-17 describes when “the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” 11:18 “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged...” Events of v 18 precede those of v 17 Important principle - occurs frequently in Revelation and other parts of scripture.
