Government of the Republic of Moldova2008 Survey5 MANAGING THE SURVEY A National Coordinator Manage the 2008 Survey in a timely and transparent manner. Ensure that government and donors are fully informed and take part in the Survey. Convene and chair the various meetings needed to complete the 2008 Survey. Support donor and government representatives in completing the survey. Ensure quality control and consistency in the responses provided. Submit survey results to the OECD Secretariat by 31 March 2008.

Make available survey data and relevant information to the National Co-ordinator Help the National Co-ordinator mobilise the financial or human resources that are needed to manage the 2008 Survey in a timely way.

Government of the Republic of Moldova2008 Survey9 WHAT HAS CHANGED IN THE 2008 SURVEY? The coverage has been expanded – 53 countries (34 in 2006) — and more donors (60 in 2006). Revised definitions and guidance. Donors and countries are invited to rigorously comply with. The role of the National Co-ordinator has been strengthened. A Donor Focal Point has been appointed The qualitative assessments in the 2008 Survey have been deepened. Broadening country-level dialogue by increasing the involvement of civil society organisations. A dedicated Help Desk has been strengthened to provide additional technical support.
