Have little time to maintain mental practice and make improvement Goal Help people stay calm, stay happy and stay healthy Training Method: FA (Focus Attention) Meditation + Auditory Attention Training Results Easier to practice and more efficient than only using one method

Introduction / Existing Literature Motivations/ Interest in calming and Meditation A. Long-term meditators self-induce high-amplitude gamma synchrony during mental practice, even short term training for 4 weeks may help. B. Interested in Chanting music research Past Research A. Mental training can affect cortical engagement. B. State concentrate can significantly decrease in emotionally reactive behaviors C. Attention is plastic and trainable. D.
