How Others See Me How I See Myself
WRITING PROMPT Use the ideas you created on your internal and external reflections to draft a reflective essay explaining how others might describe you, how you would describe yourself and how these descriptions might be similar or different.
Write an introduction with a main or controlling idea (thesis statement). Example: What you see is not always what you get. People may look at me and think I am _____, but I am actually ______. Example: What you see is exactly who I am. People look at me and think I am _______, and they are exactly right. Write two body paragraphs, one about how others see you and one about how you see yourself. For a conclusion, tie together your ides, restating your comparisons. Look at the overall “theme” of what you wrote, and include a broader “lesson” for your writing.
