Letter Writing Review How do you write a formal letter?

Rules Address- 1.) Yours (heading or on the right) 2.) The Address of the person you are writing too (left side). Date- Write it out (it can go on the right or left). Greeting- Figure out the name of the person you are writing too. Otherwise it is Sir/Madam

Opening Paragraph- Briefly describe yourself, the purpose of your cause. Paragraph 2- Give the reasons why you are interested in visiting the school. State the relevancy of your visit and the benefit your visit will bring the teacher and students. Clearly indicate your intentions and why students need to learn about homophobia. Ensure you are constantly asking yourself, so what? Inform them what you will be bring and what you need. Ensure to justify the resources you are requesting.

Closing Paragraph- Thank them for their consideration and restate your interest and close the letter. Ending your letter- Yours faithfully, Sincerely, etc.. Sign your name and then type it out clearly. Take a look at the example !
