Sacagawea! By Amanda Bishop

Childhood Sacagawea was born in Idaho 1779 or 1780 She was named Sacagawea because Sacaga means “bird” and wea means “woman”, she was named that because as a child she was bright and fast Sacagawea was captured by another Indian tribe

Mid-life After she was captured, she was forced to marry a man named Charbonneau (Shar buh No) who was three times as old. At age 16 she had a baby, Clark called him “Pomp” Charbonneau had heard some news of a needed guide, she agreed to go and was a great help

Ending Without Sacagawea the Lewis and Clark expedition would of failed When Sacagawea died, she died a happy woman, and proud of herself

!!!Thank You!!! I hoped you enjoyed my show!
