台灣實證醫學學會 2012 學術年會海報 Effects of respiratory rehabilitation with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on exercise ability: A systematic review Lin-Yu Laio 1, Kuei-Min Chen 2 Chest Hospital, Department of Health Executive Yuan 1 Ph.D. Student, Kaohsiung Medical University 1 Professor, Kaohsiung Medical University To exposure respiratory rehabilitation program with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on exercise ability. ■ Purpose ■ Method 1.Use of systematic review in this study. 2.Key words : 『 acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease 』『 respiratory rehabilitation 』 『 exercise ability 』 3. Electronic database :Pub Med, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, and CINAHL ■ Result A tota1nine studies were conducted. The appraisal of results showed that three studies scores were 8point, two studies scores were 6.5point, and four studies scores were 7.5point, 7point, 6point, 5point. Comprise with exercise ability that the results showed increase shuttle walk distance, and 6MWD, but one study showed no difference after discharge in period 3, 6, 9,12month for6MWD( KO, et al.2011). Indeed, the respiratory rehabilitation programs can improve of shuttle walk distance, and 6MWD, find out that the respiratory rehabilitation programs not only exercise training but also included self management, health education, airway clearance techniques training and breathing training at follow 12month(Shakur, 2003; Maltais, 2003; Bucknall, et al, 2012),but KO, et al.(2011) was not involve. Hence, self management, health education, and breathing training effect of improve 6MWD outcome for long time recover in AECOPD. ■ Conclusion Design Inclusion criteria/exclusion criteria Inclusion criteria was respiratory rehabilitation, study design was randomized control trial, and participants were acute exacerbation COPD(AECOPD). Exclusion criteria were not involving respiratory ventilator in participants. Data extraction and quality assessment Study selection Apply respiratory rehabilitation to hospital-base acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease may improve on exercise ability. But complete respiratory rehabilitation programs have to involve exercise training, self management, health education, airway clearance techniques training and breathing training for long time recovers in AECOPD. This study implies that the program may provide used nursing guidance for AECOPD.
